June Wrap Up

JUNEWRAPUP

With the year half over, I’m feeling a little melancholy. I started the year with a list of goals and aspirations and just don’t feel like I’m making enough progress. Here is to the second half of the year and greater productivity and positivity.

In the meantime, I have read far more books this year so far than I had expected to. Initially, my Goodreads goal was set at 35 which I surpassed so I bumped it up to 45. Currently, I am at 40 books completed and will most likely bump up my Goodreads goals again. Either way, this is what Literary Weaponry was up to in June!

May Wrap Up

MAYWRAPUP

Welcome to Literary Weaponry’s May Wrap Up! I got far more reading done this month than I expected to which was a bit of a surprise and was lucky enough to discover an author that I now love. I, like most of you I’m sure, am shocked that 2018 is already nearly half over. How did that even happen? However, on a more bloggish note, here is what went down on LW in May.  Continue reading

March and April Wrap Up

MarchAprilWrapUp

Hello Spring! I cannot explain how happy I was when the last of the snow finally melted and I could pull my flip flops out from the back of the closet. That reminds me that I need to paint my toes a properly springy color. I have a neon green that would be just the thing.

I didn’t do a March wrap up because at the beginning of April I went on a multiple week hiatus so I’m going to combine both March and April for this wrap up. I expect it may get a little long… Continue reading

February Book Haul

FEBBOOKHAUL

The Tuesday of months is finally over! Does anyone else feel like February is the year’s version of Tuesday? No? Just me? Okay. Well, anyway, it wasn’t the greatest reading month for me but I did luck out with getting several books on sales and a few unexpectedly on Netgalley. I found myself not spending quite as much time at the library this month as well because, well, I had ARCs up to my ears. On top of the three listed here I have another five sitting waiting for my attention. Yikes!

February Wrap Up

FEBWRAPUP

Ah, February. The Tuesday of months. When the year has just started and you aren’t entirely sure how it is going yet and it never stops raining. I intensely dislike February. It is also tax season which just gives you that mild panic feeling in the pit of your stomach for no good reason. February can bugger off. Outside of my personal feelings towards it, I found myself in a bit of a reading slump this month so I did not have nearly as many reviews as usual. Here are the posts that Did find their way onto the blog this month.

September Wrap Up

SeptemberWrapUp

We have reached the end of summer and tumbled head first into fall. Cool, crisp mornings, leaves crunching underfoot, and the promise of Halloween just around the corner. As a child I was really never that into fall. It signified the start of a new school year and all of the homework that came with it. As an adult, fall is my jam. I get to turn off the air conditioner, open the windows, and save on the electric bill? Don’t mind if I do! Before I tumble headlong into a ramble about Jack Skellington I’ll cut myself off. So, here for your perusal, is my September Wrap Up! Continue reading
