TBR Leftovers | 2020 Edition

2020, as far as years go, was a great reading year for me. I read the most books I ever have, finishing out the year with 64. For some, that may not be a great deal but for me it is a great accomplishment. Unfortunately, along with that there are numerous books on my shelves that I intended to read in 2020 and just never got around to. I have a full Owned TBR but there are certainly titles on that shelf that pull on me more than others.

Most Disappointing Reads of 2020

Let me begin by saying that 2020 as a year was, as we all know, miserable. I’ve not spoken to a single person who has said, “Yeah, 2020 was great! I accomplished so much and was happy!” That is just not a thing people say. However, reading wise, I had a very productive year finishing my most books ever in a year at 64. There were many books on that list that I loved, and you can see my favorite books of the year here, but along with that were a few duds. These are my more disappointing reads of 2020.

Favorite Reads of 2020

Looking back over my 2020 reading and I am pleasantly surprised by all the the wonderful books I read this year! Of course of my 65 books read there were also a few duds but that is to be expected. One of my favorite things is that of my best reads of the year list there are a few of them I picked up on a whim with no rhyme or reason. What delightful luck for me. End of Year Wrap Up | 2020

Welcome to my End of Year Wrap up for 2020. I think that this was a tough year for pretty much everyone but I for one took solace in my books this year. Because of that it was my most successful reading year yet at 65 books! I found new to me authors that I loved, reread some old favorites, and overall just escaped into fictional worlds when the real world felt like it was trying to crush me.
