We all open each book hoping to love it. We hope to be transported to a new world with people and characters who elicit great passions in us. We want to be moved. Unfortunately, there are books we open with these expectations that fall far short of those goals. These are the books that I read in 2017 that left me disappointed. (Swearing to follow)
