Throwback Thursday – Murder on the Orient Express (Hercule Poirot #10) by Agatha Christie

throwbackthursday

Renee began Throwback Thursday at Its Book Talk as a way to share some of her old favorites as well as sharing books that she wants to read that were published over a year ago. Books that were published over a year ago are almost always easier to find at libraries or at a discounted sale price. As I have been sifting through my TBR list and purging those books that no longer hold my interest, I came across several from years past that I’d love to share with you! Continue reading

NaNoWriMo 2017 – WINNER

winner-congrats

That’s right folks. I did it. I completed my first NaNoWriMo. Official final NaNo word count is 53,200. I have already dove into editing and am really loving it. I’ve heard from others that editing is terrible and difficult but so far I far prefer it to drafting. The tweaking, adding little bits, correcting things that went a little off in drafting…for me it is fun!

Did you participate in NaNoWriMo this year? How did you do? Talk to me!

Top Ten Tuesday – Books on my Winter TBR

b9791-toptentuesday2

Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish. Each week they provide a topic and you are free to use that topic and/or variations of that topic to make your top ten list. You don’t have to do all ten. Instead you can do three, five, fifteen, whatever you want. A full list of the weekly themes can be found here.

This week’s theme is Top Ten Books On My Winter TBR. I am personally one of those people that don’t often actually follow my TBR but there are certainly a few books I’m looking forward to reading when it becomes too cold to do much outside!

Self imposed hiatus over

Hello all!

As some of you may have noticed, I have been absent here at Literary Weaponry for the last week. That was because of a self imposed hiatus. I’m not going to get into the whys outside of saying that I needed some time away.

I am back now, but I think I will be changing my posting schedule and perhaps a few other things. We’ll see how it goes.

For now, I will just say that I am nearly done with Renegades by Marissa Meyer so hopefully that review will be up by the end of the week. I still expect to be taking part in Top Ten Tuesday and WWW Wednesdays when relevant.

Hope to speak with you all soon!
