Hello everyone!

I wanted to let you, my lovely readers know, that Literary Weaponry will be on hiatus until October 1st or perhaps earlier, depending on how things work out. I appreciate you all and love being a part of this community but having a bit of a break every now and then is necessary. Also with NaNoWriMo just around the corner I want to get everything prepared to knock that out of the park.

Thank you all, as always, for stopping by and I will see you all soon. Happy reading!

❤ Amanda

In the meantime, I can still be found on Twitter @literaryweapnry if you want to have a chat!

First Line Fridays – September 14

first-lines-fridays

First Lines Fridays is a weekly feature for book lovers hosted by Wandering Words. What if instead of judging a book by its cover, its author or its prestige, we judged it by its opening lines?

  • Pick a book off your shelf (it could be your current read or on your TBR) and open to the first page
  • Copy the first few lines, but don’t give anything else about the book away just yet – you need to hook the reader first
  • Finally… reveal the book!

  • Read the synopses of the books
  • Decide: keep it or should it go?
